Description: With fiber's bright colors, textures, and versatility, wool felt can be the ideal medium for jewelry. Perfect for the knitter, fiber artist, general crafter, or jewelry artist-- this class offers an enlightening introduction to the fun and addictive technique of wet felting. In this 4 hour workshop, we will make beads of various forms and incorporate surface embellishments, stringing and wirework to make a unique and wonderful piece of jewelry.
Requirements: None. This workshop is open to all regardless of experience level.
Materials to Bring: A variety of beads/sequins, etc... to use in embellishing felt beads, scissors, straight razor blade, a variety of threads/ embroidery floss, needle nosed pliers, a pair of nylon stockings (recycled is ok!)
